The Origin of the Project
This ambitious project took both parties a full year of dedication and hard work. By combining expertise, passion, and the determination to create a truly unique product, the Caffelab and Bouchard Cooperage team, one of the most experienced and historic international brokers of premium French, Hungarian, and American barrels, collaborated to deliver an unparalleled sensory experience.
The Coffee Selection
After meticulous infusion tests in various barrels and countless tasting sessions, we carefully selected Brazilian Arabica coffee beans from the prestigious Alta Mogiana region. These exceptional green coffee beans were delicately rested in Armagnac barrels for 60 days at our roastery. During this period, the beans were rotated every three days to ensure even infusion and to develop an extraordinary aromatic profile.
A Unique Flavor Profile
Armagnac Coffee stands out for its unique and balanced flavor profile, featuring enveloping notes of Armagnac, milk chocolate, and caramel. This exceptional sensory experience can be enjoyed in both espresso preparation and traditional moka brewing.
