The Horqueta farm, which covers 9.3 hectares, is located at an average altitude of 1550 meters in the Boquete region. Acquired in 2015 by Cuatro Caminos Coffee Estate, this estate is dedicated to cultivating Arabica coffee, including the Typica, Pacamara, San Ramon, and, of course, Geisha varieties.
The micro-lot of coffee we have selected comes precisely from the Geisha variety, considered the gem of coffee production for its extraordinary quality. Only perfectly ripe fruits are handpicked and carefully selected before being sun-dried on raised beds, ensuring a consistent drying process.
This coffee presents complex aromatic notes in the cup, offering a floral and tropical fruit bouquet, accompanied by a pleasant hint of strawberries. With a medium and velvety body, the coffee provides a sweetness reminiscent of caramel and vanilla, which lingers in the aftertaste, delivering an unforgettable taste experience.
According to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) protocol, it has scored 88.50 points in the tasting evaluation.
